Eagle Crest Covenants

This link should lead to a copy of the Eagle Crest covenants.

Homeowners Association has been made responsible for enforcing the existing neighborhood covenants. Every homeowner should have a copy of these covenants. If not, please request a copy from one of the board members. Please take the time to reread your covenants and familiarize yourself with them.

Any approvals for improvements to your lot/home that are required by the Covenants will be issued by the Homeowners Association Board. The HOA Board has developed a form to be used by our neighborhood residents to request any such approvals. Again, these request forms are available from any of the current board members or downloadable here. These-completed forms should be mailed to the post Office Box listed above.

The process for obtaining the approvals required by our neighborhood covenants have not always been clearly delineated or consistently followed. Effective with the August 25, 2008 assignment by the former Declarant, the following process which has been approved by the Eagle Crest HOA Board shall be as follows:

1. The Homeowner shall obtain and complete the "Architectural Approval Application" form that is now available from board members or online.
2. The Homeowner should mail this Application to the Eagle Crest Homeowners Association Board at P.O. Box 460908, Papillion,NE 68046.
3. The Homeowner will receive a written response from the Board no later than 30 days from the postmark date on your Application.
4. This is the only acceptable procedure for requesting approvals for improvements to your property that are specified in the Eagle crest covenants.

Thank-you for your support of both this procedure and in complying with the existing covenants in the neighborhood.

The Homeowners Association is also responsible for maintaining the exterior fence along Cornhusker and may have additional maintenance responsibilities once the City of Papillion annexes our neighborhood. For example, they may not pay for upkeep of the islands, entrances, or pay for maintaining the sprinklers in the park or the water usage required.
